Terms of use

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Who provides the service

Italian Tips is a practice platform for learning Italian, run by Claudio Brena (full details in the Legal notice). By signing up you accept these terms and confirm that you have read the Privacy policy.

2. Account

  • To sign up you must be at least 18 years old and give true information.
  • Every new account is approved by the teacher before it becomes active.
  • Your account is personal: do not share your login details. You are responsible for what happens with your account.

3. What the platform offers

Exercises, PDF worksheets, flashcards, readings and guided learning paths, plus material prepared specifically for some students. The service supports your study and your lessons, but it does not guarantee that you will reach a level or pass an exam.

4. Proper use

  • You may use the materials only for your own personal study.
  • You may not copy, resell, publish or share them with others, except the PDFs the platform lets you download, and those only for personal use.
  • You may not try to access other users' data or disrupt the website.

5. Content and intellectual property

Texts, exercises, PDFs, graphics and the Italian Tips brand belong to Claudio Brena or are used with permission. The reviews and feedback you write remain yours; by publishing a review you allow us to show it on the website until you withdraw it.

6. Price

Today the platform is free for invited students. If it becomes paid in the future, the terms will be communicated in advance and you will have to accept them explicitly: no charge without your consent.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the website running at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or because of provider issues. Content and features may change over time.

8. Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time by writing to ciao@italiantips.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, letting you know whenever possible.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the controller is not liable for indirect damage caused by using, or being unable to use, the platform. This does not affect the rights the law gives consumers.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live and can go to the courts of that country.
